“Anything that solidifies a friendship, we are down”: Red and Mokey on Fraggle Rock – Back to the Rock season two

“Anything that solidifies a friendship, we are down”: Red and Mokey on Fraggle Rock – Back to the Rock season two

As Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock returns to screen for a second series, so do all the beloved characters that live there. Fans of the show developed by Matt Fusfeld and Alex Cuthbertson can expect bountiful joy and colourful scenes with catchy songs, dance routines and moral-based messages about friendship and respect.

There’s more adventures from Uncle “Travelling” Matt that are told on the plentiful postcards he sends and there are snippets of his brave journey amongst the “silly creatures” (Humans) he meets. The sheltered Fraggles learn more about the daunting outside world from his wisdom and even try strawberries “sweet radishes” he brings back from one of his jaunts.

There’s much excitement with each episode as the Fraggles take part in a team race, meet new arrivals and learn more about each other. There’s magic, thoughtfulness, peril and joy as they navigate their lives living near humans and interact closely with Doozers and Gorgs.

The Upcoming had the pleasure of speaking to Red and Mokey about their friendship and what it means to them, the things that make them feel calm and the adventures they enjoy having together.
